ADHD

When you have ADHD, everyday tasks can feel harder than they should, not because you’re unmotivated, but because your brain is wired differently.

It’s like trying to build a bookshelf using the wrong tools... everything takes longer, feels harder, and the results don’t match your effort. But once you have tools that actually fit the task things start to come together with less struggle.

Once we understand how your brain works, we can begin working with it, not against it.

Common Experiences of ADHD:
Do any of these sound familiar?

  • Forgetfulness and frequently misplacing important items (phone, keys, wallet)

  • Time blindness: difficulties with managing your time

  • Easily distracted by your own thoughts, the task at hand, or others speaking to you

  • Struggles with organizing, prioritizing, or completing tasks

  • Inconsistent follow-through: having great ideas/knowing what to do but not doing it

  • Intense focus on some tasks and then total avoidance of others

  • Constant decision fatigue or feeling mentally overloaded

  • Difficulty with planning ahead or estimating how long tasks will take

  • Struggles with transitions: switching between tasks or shifting focus with ease

  • Trouble with regulating emotions and staying in control of impulsivity

Through our work together, we’ll focus on building executive functioning skills that support you in everyday life, making things like planning, focus, and follow-through more manageable and less overwhelming.
