Hello I'm Allie !
I’m a licensed psychotherapist offering virtual sessions for clients in New York, Connecticut, and Florida. I have a decade of experience supporting both men and women who who are managing anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger, and everyday life stressors, while navigating the complexities of relationship dynamics, parenting, perinatal mental health, NICU experiences, and family conflict.
At Columbia University's School of Social Work, I earned my master's degree with a concentration in clinical practice and family systems. During my post-graduate work, I earned a Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C); a special accreditation in perinatal mental health counseling. My PHM-C certification reflects advanced training in guiding individuals and couples through the emotional, physical, and psychological changes that can accompany pregnancy, birth, the postpartum period, and parenting beyond the first year.

During my career, I worked as a clinical therapist for several years in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. At that time, I provided crucial emotional support for families coping with the stress and uncertainty of having a baby in the hospital. I also worked in the prenatal and the pediatric developmental clinics, guiding families through their pregnancies and helping them process difficult diagnoses of their newborns.

Throughout my career, I have maintained a private practice where I draw upon my therapeutic experience to counsel a wide range of individuals.
In addition to my focus on perinatal and parental mental health, I have developed a strong expertise in men’s mental health. Over the years, I’ve worked extensively with men navigating anxiety, stress, emotional regulation, executive functioning skills, work-life balance, evolving identities in fatherhood and partnership, and relationship challenges- whether that means with a current partner, family dynamics, divorce, breakups, or dating. I'm particularly passionate about offering men a space that’s not only about emotions. It’s a place to figure things out, get perspective, and think through challenges that haven’t had room to be explored.

In private practice, I continue to speak to individuals in the perinatal and postpartum period, and parents in the years beyond. I also work with individuals managing anxiety, stress, executive functioning or ADHD, and challenges with dating or in relationships with family and/or partners.

I have received training in CBT, ACT, and DBT, and completed courses at the Gottman Institute, Postpartum Support International, Beck Institute, Seleni, and Feeling Good Institute.
