Anxiety & Stress

Anxiety and stress can show up in all kinds of ways, physically, emotionally, and/or in how you relate to others. While these feelings can be overwhelming, learning how to work through them can bring real relief and can positively affect other parts of your life that may have been impacted by your stress.

Whether you're dealing with a specific stressor or ongoing anxiety, therapy offers a space to slow down, make sense of what you're feeling, and figure out what might help.

People come to me when they are

  • Constantly feeling overwhelmed, like there's too much to manage

  • Overwhelmed by daily decisions or responsibilities

  • Constantly overthinking things you’ve said or done

  • Stuck in your thoughts, especially imagining worst-case scenarios or saying what if

  • Worried about things that others say “aren’t a big deal,” but feel huge to you

  • Feeling like you're always preparing for something to go wrong

  • Struggling with racing thoughts that just won’t quiet down

  • Avoiding situations because they feel “too much” to handle

  • Feeling disconnected from yourself or others

  • Finding it hard to focus or make decisions

Anxiety shows up to keep you safe, but sometimes it goes into overdrive. When you slow down and start to question these anxious thoughts, things can shift.

You don’t have to believe everything your anxiety tells you. With practice, you can learn to spot the patterns, challenge the thoughts, and respond in new ways.
